In this online Zoom event, we will explore the intersection of writing and artificial intelligence (AI). The presentation will begin with an overview of some of the key debates, challenges, and opportunities in the field of AI and composition. We will then move on to an activity overview, where I will share some examples of student work that have utilized AI in the classroom. Finally, we will engage in an open discussion to reflect on the implications of AI for rhetorical theory and practice. This event is designed to provide a forum for dialogue and exploration of the ways in which AI is changing the landscape of writing and composition.
